Kawasaki Other description

1973 Kawasaki F7 Orange Have you been looking for an original F7 Kawasaki, boy do I have a treat for you—down to its original trials tires and Reflectors!

I’ll bet this brings back memories for some of you guys out there. This is an all original bike, just like you may have seen it in 1973. You can tell that this bike didn’t see much off road use. Steel fenders were usually the first to go, but it still has its original fenders, even with the factory mud flap up front. Ever seen “brush chains?” They were a small chain that ran from the frame to the brake and shifter to stop weeds from jamming up that area. This bike still has them intact on both brake and shifter. It has its original speed and tachometer, the seat is very nice and it has it’s hard to find original factory luggage rack. Headlight and tail light work. The switches and wiring is original, and has not been altered. The gas tank has its original paint and striping. I had the inside professionally “red coated” by the well know Elizabeth Radiator, so no worries there. Kawasaki used a “rotary valve” arrangement for intake for its carburetion. You can ask anyone, this arrangement always generated a lot more horsepower per cc displacement. The rotary valve made this the horsepower king of the 175 enduros. This bike runs very strong, just watch the video this past weekend starting and riding it. Super powerful, and it runs smoothly at all rev ranges and shifts and brakes as it should. Click for a youtube video taken 9/28/2013:

It also had a very innovative front fork by Hatta. You can not only change the preload on the forks(original rubber caps still in place) you can also increase or decrease its wheelbase by moving the axle up or back. The rims with their heavy duty spokes are straight and without rust.

IMPORTANT TITLE INFORMATION I have the original title for this bike, it is signed but not notarized by the original owner. Check with your local Bureau of Motor Vehicles to see what that means in your state. The motorcycle can be seen by appointment before bidding. I have enclosed many pictures and I can take more by request. Please email me with questions before you bid. Sold as is where is with no warranty of any type. So if you bid, you buy, no crybabies.

Bid with confidence, I have a 100% rating on ebay and have a nationally known enthusiast web site which is classicjapanesemotorcycles

2014 AMA Supercross Las Vegas Results

Mon, 05 May 2014

Ryan Villopoto capped off his fourth-consecutive AMA Supercross championship with an impressive victory at the season finale at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas. The Monster Energy Kawasaki rider clinched the title at last week’s New Jersey round so he didn’t have to prove anything in Vegas. But he did, leading all 20 laps and winning by nearly 14 seconds.
