2013 Kawasaki Versys, The Versys handles a variety of riding conditions, from commuting to backroads. The Versys has a 649cc parallel twin-cylinder engine with digital fuel injection (DFI), a long-travel fork, Adjustable single-shock rear suspension, and aluminum swingarm and 17-inch cast aluminum wheels.It borrows design elements from dual-purpose bikes, standards, adventure-tourers and sportbikes sharing characteristics of all, but not neatly fitting into any of the above mentioned categorys

AMA Superbike: 2012 Daytona Results
Tue, 20 Mar 2012Josh Hayes and Blake Young picked things up where they left off by trading wins at the 2012 season-opening AMA Superbike round at Daytona International Speedway. Reigning champion Hayes of Monster Energy Graves Yamaha took the first race handily, leading almost right from the start of the 15-lap race for the win. Yoshimura Suzuki’s Young, who finished second to Hayes in the 2011 AMA Superbike Championship, responded by taking the second race, but only by a slim 0.002-second margin.

WSBK to Make Fake Headlight Stickers Mandatory for 2013
Fri, 29 Jun 2012World Superbike racebikes will be required to have fake headlight stickers on their race fairings to more closely resemble their production series counterparts. The new regulation, set to kick in for the 2013 WSBK season, was designed to establish a closer link between the production model and the race-trim superbike. The new rules will also mandate 17-inch aluminum wheels.
