Kawasaki Other description

NO I DON"T ACCEPT PAYPAL. Black 2011 Kawasaki Concours with 11,500 miles. Best sport touring bike on the road and this one is especially nice. Has a Two Brothers Slip-on that sounds awesome and a Power Commander V that is specifically mapped for the Two Bros slip-on. Comes with a K&N air filter, V-Stream windshield and Throttlemeister throttle lock bar ends for cruise control. Also includes a Ram Mount universal phone or GPS holder. I've had the original seat custom covered with a few extra inches of foam to suit my 6'5" height. It's really cushy, letting you do an all day ride and feel like you were sitting in a lazy boy. Also have another stock seat for it too if the plush seat is too tall. It's in excellent condition. Doesn't burn a drop of oil and there is still a couple thousand miles worth of rubber on the tires. In ECO mode you can get over 60 MPG (if you do the speed limit...good luck with that). It's paid for so I've got the title in hand along with original manual, fob and keys. It has extended warranty until 2016 which is fully transferable. I ride my CBR to work since it fits between the cars way better than this fat boy so it just isn't getting used much anymore. Motorcycle Drifting, Part 2.

Fri, 13 Jan 2012

Today’s Friday Fun Video comes courtesy of the marketing department at Icon Motorsports. Following the success of their first motorcycle drift video, featuring Nick Brocha on a stretched Kawasaki ZX-10R scorching rubber with Jim Guthrie on a Corvette-powered Mazda RX7, the guys set out to one-up themselves. With this video, I think it’s safe to say “Mission Accomplished.” This time around, Brocha is joined by Ernie Vigil and they’re riding modified Triumph Speed Triples.

V.I.P treatment for first Dainese D-Air customers

Fri, 08 Jul 2011

To celebrate the release of the D-Air race suit in the UK, Dainese are offering the first 20 customers to order a complete V.I.P treatment at the upcoming World Superbike round at Silverstone. The iconic safety brand will have each of the customer's suits personally tailored, with measurements undertaken by a Dainese D-Air engineer from the factory in Italy. Following this, the first 20 customers to register will receive a hospitality lunch, garage tours of the Aprilia, BMW and Kawasaki teams with the opportunity to meet the Dainese riders and rub well protected shoulders with the big names of the WSB paddock.

US Motorcycle Thefts Down 6% in 2011

Tue, 09 Oct 2012

Americans reported 46,667 motorcycle thefts in 2011, a 6% decrease from 49,791 stolen motorcycles in 2010, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau. Despite the drop in reported thefts, the non-profit organization representing nearly 1100 property and casualty insurance companies says the theft rate still averages out to one motorcycle stolen every 11 minutes in the U.S. The numbers were published in the NICB’s 2011 ForeCAST Report which examined theft reports as well as recoveries.
