Roger Hayden to miss Daytona 200

Roger Hayden will not compete in the 2009 Daytona 200 after being granted a leave of absence by the Monster Energy Kawasaki race team. KAWASAKI are releasing a limited run of chronograph watches to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the launch of their seminal bike. To reflect the engine capacity of the Z1, the run of watches has been limited to just 903 time pieces and will retail in the UK at £249.95. The watch will be officially launched at the main German motorcycle show, Intermot, on 2October, in just the same way the Z1 arrived in Europe for the first time 40 years ago.
