The first impression that it provides is that of comfort as the handlebars-seat-pegs triangle works perfectly for the average sized rider and after a whole day of riding the Versys the comfort is not just an impression, but something definitely worthy to brag about. Power is there at every twist of the throttle. Given the engines user-friendly nature, you tend to underestimate the bikes capabilities of providing a rush all across the powerband. But when you roll on the throttle a bit healt*WHY BUY NEW* This bike is Showroom Fresh. You won't beat a deal on a 2009 Versys this nice anywhere. It is factory stock and the owner was meticulous about cleanliness. You've gotta see this beauty to believe it.

Mon, 07 Oct 2013A spy photo of the new 2014 Kawasaki J300 has emerged, a week after the maxi-scooter was first spotted being filmed for a promotional video in Milan. The J300 sports a broad front fairing, not unlike other maxi-scooters such as the Yamaha TMax or BMW‘s C600 Sport and C650 GT scooters.
New: Venhill 888 fast-action twistgrips
Fri, 01 Mar 2013CONTROL specialist Venhill has launched its new 888 range of bike-specific fast action twistgrips. Supplied complete with the company's top of the range Featherlight cables, the kits are designed for a straightforward replacement of the factory-fitted equipment. Bike-specific kits are now available for the Honda CBR600F, Kawasaki ZX-6R/ZX-10R, Suzuki GSX-R600/750, Triumph 675 Daytona and Yamaha R1/R6, among others, with prices from £105. Here's Venhill's description of the new product: "Manufactured with a robust CNC machined alloy body, the 888 fast action twistgrip provides a choice of two settings and is supplied with two rotors so that riders can select the throttle action that best suits the riding conditions. Settings can be changed swiftly by undoing the two set screws securing the throttle body and changing the rotor. On the fastest setting there is 80° of rotation, (taking up 36mm of the cable), which is typically 45% faster than 'standard' throttles.

However, two unfortunate and costly blows hit the paddock; the banning of tobacco advertising in 2005 followed by the global economic crisis. The off-shoot saw grid numbers drastically dwindle with staple teams, like Kenny Roberts' outfit, and manufacturers, Kawasaki and Suzuki, succumbing to the events and disappearing.
