2005 KAWASAKI ZZR1200, Nice low mileage 2005 Kawasaki ZZR1200 with Kawasaki side cases (aka saddlebags) - not shown in the main photos. The ZZR1200 has a torquey, powerful engine based on the Kawasaki Ninja 1200 but with a comfortable riding position appreciated by sport touring enthusiasts. In addition to abundant power, the bike features an aluminum perimeter-style frame reinforced with internal ribbing to withstand mass miles of sport touring plus a steel subframe that accommodates roomy Givi-designed Kawasaki saddlebags. The ZZR1200 has a light-handling nature enhanced by Kawasaki’s UNI-TRAK rear suspension system that produces progressive rates on the shock for an overall smooth ride. Tue, 08 Apr 2014Ryan Villopoto ran mostly unchallenged for his fourth win of the 2014 AMA Supercross season, taking advantage of an early spill by Ryan Dungey. The win strengthens Villopoto’s hold on the points lead as the Kawasaki rider seeks his fourth-consecutive championship. Villopoto took the holeshot in the Houston main event and never looked back, leading all 20 laps for the win.

The Monster Energy Kawasaki racer took the lead early in the race after passing holeshot-taker Davi Millsaps on the opening lap. Villopoto would lead the rest of the way for his eighth win of the season.
Kawasaki Announces EVO Entry for World Superbike Championship
Mon, 20 Jan 2014Kawasaki announced it will enter a factory-backed EVO-category entry for the 2014 World Superbike Championship. Kawasaki has signed David Salom to ride the EVO Ninja ZX-10R. The team will be run by the same operation behind the non-EVO factory team of Loris Baz and reigning WSBK Champion Tom Sykes, forming a three-rider Kawasaki factory lineup.
