Our son has outgrown his dirt bike, so we are selling it to buy him a bigger 4-wheeler. This is a 2002 Kawasaki KDX50. It comes with the training wheels, which were purchased brand new when we bought the bike two years ago this month. At that time we also had the Superman stickers along with the #4 made and applied @ Performance Graphics in R'dale. Some of the corners have peeled, but overall it still looks good. The sport of drifting in the car world has been entertaining motorsports enthusiasts for years, spawning national race series across the globe. And this genre is now gaining a foothold in the motorcycle world. In the video below, we see these worlds collide as a Corvette-powered Mazda RX-7 battles a stretched Kawasaki ZX-10R in a drift competition produced by Icon Motorsports. The Ninja is ridden by Nick “Apex” Brocha, smoking his ZX’s fat rear tire against the RX at Sandia Motorsports Park in New Mexico.

Brammo Earns Seventh Place Against Gas Bikes

This past weekend, Brammo arrived to Sonoma Raceway in Central California ready to do battle. Only this time the electric sportbike manufacturer would be trading blows not with other electric bikes, but with their ICE counterparts at the second round of the American Federation of Motorcyclists series — one of the oldest club racing organizations in the country. We recently mentioned Brammo’s eligibility with AFM, and this weekend was the first outing. Team Icon Brammo and its two riders Eric Bostrom and Steve Atlas competed on the Empulse RR machines while third rider, Shelina Moreda, rode the Team Parker Brammo Empulse TTX — a modified version of the road-legal Empulse.
