This auction is for a 2001 KZ1000- Kawasaki Police Motorcycle. This bike came from the Rancho Mirage Police Department near Palm Springs California, I got 2 from them and these were their (Back-Up) Motorcycles. The Police department maintains its vehicles with all scheduled maintenance and replacements of parts. I obtained this motorcycle (with 58,000 miles) for my personal collection and I used it very little. I also maintained this vehicle with scheduled maintenance and upgrades. I personally have done ALL the work with patience and care, I don't take shortcuts with my personal things. This Motorcycle is being sold "AS IS" with no warranty, what you see is what you get. You are more then welcome to come by and inspect the vehicle but I assure you will not be disappointed. This is also a "PICK-UP" only auction so you will need to make ALL the arrangements. Recall for 2009-2010 Kawasaki KLX250
Tue, 05 Jul 2011Kawasaki is recalling some 2009-2010 KLX250 models due to a risk of leaky fuel tanks. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the fuel tank on affected motorcycles may not be in contact with the frame-mounted rubber dampers designed to support the front of the tank, and the tank side mounting tabs may have excessive clearance from from the frame. As a result, spot-welded sections along the side tabs may be under excessive stress, potentially resulting in cracking and a fuel leak.
Bonhams To Auction Bruce Smith Collection Of Original Illustrations
Fri, 11 Oct 2013On October 20, Bonhams will be auctioning off a collection of original illustrations by Bruce Smith from the 1960s and 1970s. Each one will be signed by Smith on heavy cartridge paper. The collection is comprised of cutaway illustrations of a 1963 Royal Enfield Interceptor 750cc, Chris Vincent’s 1964 BSA 650cc A65 Race Outfit, and a 1966 Greeves Racer, the largest of this series being 45cm x 62cm.

The Monster Energy Kawasaki rider clinched the title at last week’s New Jersey round so he didn’t have to prove anything in Vegas. But he did, leading all 20 laps and winning by nearly 14 seconds.
