1997 Kawasaki Kz 1000 POLICE, $1650 obo (CASH ONLY - SOLD "AS IS" - NO SHIPPING - MUST PICK UP.) Moving and need to sell my bike... 1997 KZ1000-Police motorcycle with Police Fairing with shield, side metal bags and trunk box. Currently Motorcycle has police fairings and bags removed and a cafe racer front headlight and straight harley bars installed, but original police fairing with shield, side metal bags and top box are included in sale. Miles on motorcycle 70.5k Bike has been sitting without a rider for almost a year. It will start up with a jump, but has some engine issues beyond my scope of expertise as a novice rider. (Intermittent idle sticking, engine will rev intermittently high rpms, blinkers not flashing...) There are a couple of cosmetic dents on the top sides of the gas tank. Mon, 28 Jan 2013Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Ryan Villopoto dominated the 450SX Class on Saturday night in front of a record crowd in Oakland, CA. In front of a record crowd of 46,896, Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Ryan Villopoto raced to his second-consecutive AMA Supercross victory, an FIM World Championship, 450SX Class Main Event win at O.co Coliseum in Oakland, CA on Saturday night. Rockstar Energy Racing’s Davi Millsaps finished in second, and Red Bull KTM’s Ryan Dungey followed in third.

Tue, 04 Feb 2014The Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) reported a modest 1.4% growth in U.S. motorcycle and scooter sales in 2013, with consumers purchasing 465,783 vehicles. The sales data represents numbers from the MIC’s member brands which include BMW, Can-Am, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, the Piaggio Group (which includes Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Vespa), Victory, Suzuki, Triumph and Yamaha.
