                                                                                      1976 Kawasaki KZ400

This is a complete and original vintage time capsule.  I have the CLEAR TITLE.  It does start and run using the electric starter or the kick starter.  It is a solid original bike. The tank is pretty clean inside but has surface rust on the top frame buldge area.  The exhaust has surface rust but no holes.  The mufflers are original and have surface rust on the bottom but not bad, and no holes.  Original baffles are in place.  The paint is original and is dull.  The gas cap is shiny and still has the original Kawasaki logo.  The seat pan is solid and the original Kawasaki factory stickers are all still in place and the print is still very clear. The tires appear good with no dry rot that I can see.  The seat itself is very nice but the seat cover needs to be replaced.  I found one on ebay for $25.00.   The engine sounded good when I started it up but it has been sitting for 2 years so you will need to do the usual stuff to it, tune up, clean carbs maybe, not sure.  All the electric stuff worked like turn signals, lights, etc and the horn worked and the signal flasher buzzer worked too.

PAYMENT BY PAY PAL ONLY:  You need to have a Pay Pal account linked up to your ebay email address. Invoice will be send to you and please pay when you receive the Invoice.  If you do not have the money to buy, please do not bid.

The bike is located in Onsted, Michigan 49265 which is 62 miles southwest of Detroit and 45 minutes northwest of Toledo, Ohio.  I do not ship motorcycles and I am not a dealer or a mechanic.  The buyer is responsible to arrange and pay for their own shipping or pick the bike up.  I will store the bike for 30 days.  Please try to get it picked up by then.  Thanks.

PAYMENT:     PAY PAL ONLY.  (I will need your email address as linked to your Pay Pal so I can send you an Invoice), PAY WHEN YOU WIN.

SHIPPING:      BUYER MUST PAY FOR AND ARRANGE THEIR OWN SHIPPING PLEASE.  I CAN AND WILL HOLD IT HERE FOR YOU FOR UP TO 30 days.

2014 AMA Supercross – Oakland Results

Mon, 27 Jan 2014

With three different racers tasting victory in the first three rounds of the 2014 AMA Supercross Championship, the season was shaping up to be one of the deepest and most competitive fields we’ve seen. But at Round Four at O.o Coliseum in Oakland, Calif., Ryan Villopoto showed why he remains the top dog, leading each lap for his second win of the season. The Kawasaki rider only trailed at the very start of the race, as Honda rider Vince Friese took the holeshot with Yamaha‘s Justin Brayton slotting in second through the first corner.

Mon, 17 Feb 2014

Eugene Laverty, aboard his Voltcom Crescent Suzuki GSX-R1000, led the field today as the first day of World Superbike testing got underway at the Phillip Island circuit in Australia, site of the first race of the 2014 season. Under sunny skies and perfect weather conditions, Laverty adapted quickly to his new ride after spending last season aboard the Aprilia RSV4 Factory. The Suzuki offered incredible feedback and allowed him to push right out of the gates, ultimately setting a fastest lap time of 1:30.513.
