Kawasaki Other description

Have a 1975 Kawasaki KZ400 in attractive shape. Currently running, but unregistered. Don't have time to finish getting it registered and road worthy. Has great tires with 85% life. Seat has no rips. Rear section is customized and was this way when I bought it. No extra parts. Chain is decent. 12K miles. Newer battery. Charging system is healthy. Engine has great compression. Brakes are good. The bike could use some work to bring it's cosmetics up to snuff. Come take it for a spin.Things done:- New rear signals lamps and wiring harness cleaned up.- New petcock- Brand New Mikuni VM30 carbs with UniFilters and one into 2 throttle cable- Brand new Accel Ignition Coils- New points with Hondaman ignition module (module regulates points firing to the coils)- New clutch cable- New spark plugsLooking for $1750 for it. 2012 Kawasaki Versys 1000 Makes North American Debut in Canada

Wed, 11 Jan 2012

As we’ve previously reported, the new Kawasaki Versys 1000 will not be imported to the U.S, but it will be available in North America in Canada as a 2012 model. Kawasaki Canada presented the Versys 1000 at its display at this past weekend’s North American International Motorcycle Supershow in Toronto, for the new “adventure sport” model’s debut on this side of the Atlantic. While he can’t speak for Kawasaki USA’s decision making, Bob Calwell, district manager for Kawasaki Canada, he does note that the Canadian company does have a history of making different product selections.

Why restore as standard when you can do this?

Spotted this delicious Z1000 on bubblevisor’s site, the other day. It is living proof that metallic brown paint is the new black. As is the case with some of these blog sites, there’s very little or no information about the bike, just a pic.

One of Pyramid Plastics' best sellers has been the rear hugger for the Kawasaki Versys, they have now enhanced upon the original product as it is now painted to match the various colours of the bike. The Hugger is manufactured from “High-Grade Reliability PlastiK” and matches the silver swingarm, while a painted style has been adopted for the top shell. Priced at £104.99 for Pearl Solar Yellow and Metallic Imperial Red, other options include Gloss Black, Carbon Look and Atomic Silver.
