Kawasaki Ninja description

Very clean and well maintained Ninja 650R. Never dropped, never raced. 6,925 miles. Needs nothing and is ready to ride.

I'm the original owner. The bike was bought new in July 2010 and broken in according to the manual. First oil change was done at 500 followed by oil changes at the start of each riding season in the spring. Garage kept. Properly stored each winter. Basically kept spotless. You won't find a better used bike.

Aftermarket parts I installed are an Arrow Slip-on exhaust, sport bar handlebars, and tail-light with integrated turn signals ($600 value). I also have all of the original OEM parts which will be included.

Clean title in hand.

I reserve the right to end the auction early as the bike is also for sale locally.

$500 deposit due within 24 hours of auction ending.

Buyer responsible for pickup or delivery.

Left Side Story: A Double-Amputee Keeps His Racing Dreams Alive – Video

Thu, 11 Oct 2012

Australian rider Alan Kempster lost his right arm and leg in 1990 when an intoxicated truck driver crashed into his motorcycle. The accident changed Kempster’s life, but what it did not do was dampen his spirit and his love of racing. The determined Kempster rigged a racebike and returned to the track, not only competing against abled riders, but also winning.

Why restore as standard when you can do this?

Spotted this delicious Z1000 on bubblevisor’s site, the other day. It is living proof that metallic brown paint is the new black. As is the case with some of these blog sites, there’s very little or no information about the bike, just a pic.

Will the road-going RCV look like this?

Honda announced in a dry-as-you-like press release that a new bike was coming.  Not another motorcycle-cum-medical aid like the DN-01 or Integra, this is going to be a proper bike. A bike in a similar vein to previous bikes in the RC series, the RC30, RC45 and RC51, aimed squarely at winning races. So what's it going to look like?
