2012 KX85, purchased new in march of 2013.Includes Pro-Taper sprockets and bars, longer chain to accomodate larger sprocket, Moose Racing levers, and Monster Energy custom graphics.Hour meter w/ six hours, reads actual hour count. This bike is in almost new condition. Please zoom images to verify. This was a stepping stone bike for my 47yr old wife, who quickly moved up to a KX100. Then my seventeen year old daughter briefly rode it until my wife moved up again. They both were experienced with a clutch, so it is in great working condition, just as the rest of the bike. Mon, 01 Jul 2013The 91st running of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb is in the books, and while much of the media attention focused on Sebastien Loeb demolishing the outright course record, setting the first eight-minute lap with a 8:13.878 — over 90 seconds faster than the previous lap record —in his Peugeot 208 T16, history was made in the motorcycle divisions as well. Below are the times for all the motorcycle competitors in this year’s event. As expected, Carlin Dunne aboard the Lightning electric superbike, took top honors among all motorcycle competitors, marking the first time an electric motorcycle has done so.
Kawasaki J Electric Three-Wheeler Concept Revealed in Tokyo
Wed, 20 Nov 2013Kawasaki revealed a new concept at the Tokyo Motor Show that appears to combine a rowing machine, a Tron Lightcycle and Yamaha‘s Tesseract leaning four-wheeler concept. Dubbed the Kawasaki J, the concept vehicle is an electric-powered three-wheeler that can change its shape to suit either a sportier or a more comfortable riding position. Instead of handlebars, the rider grabs a pair of hand grips that each connect directly to one of the two front wheels via two long levers.
Corbin Bleu Rides to Promote Free Style
Mon, 14 Sep 2009If you’ve got a tween girl in your life you’re probably aware that High School Musical star Corbin Bleu has a new motocross-inspired movie “Free Style” coming out on October 9. Bleu and some of his co-stars were on hand at a Kawasaki event at Piru Motocross Park in Piru, California to promote the film and the actor/singer took to the track. Bleu got geared up and took a KLX110 and a KLX140 around the track to have a little fun.
