Kawasaki KX description

2004 Kawasaki KX250F, Call today to make an appointment... - After months of public speculation, Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A., announced it is indeed entering the world of four-stroke motocross with the brand's first-ever four-stroke motocross bike. The all-new Kawasaki KX250F for 2004 extends Kawasaki's prestigious history of building championship-winning racing motorcycles, taking its place next to the entire race-winning KX model line. With an all-new liquid-cooled four-stroke engine, new Kawasaki perimeter frame and suspension, the KX250F is designed for one purpose: victory in 125-class motocross and Supercross competition. "The KX250F is designed to be lighter, faster and better handling than the competition," said Steve Fischer, off-road motorcycle product manager for Kawasaki. "Just as important, it's easier to ride, so KX250F racers can look forward to more wins at the track." (Price does not include $98 doc fee)

Seeley On Form On First Night Of North West 200

Fri, 16 May 2014

Alastair Seeley took a double in the Ballymoney Borough council Supersport and Pirtek Superstock events at the start of racing at the Vauxhall International North West 200 this evening, what many “real” road racers refer to as the precursor to the Isle Of Man TT. In the Supersport race, the ‘Wee Wizard’ survived being caught up in a first lap crash at York hairpin that left him languishing in 16th to come through and win the opening race of the night on his Mar-Train Yamaha R6. Lee Johnston was the rider who went down in the first lap crash, causing Seeley to take evasive action to avoid going down himself.

Randy de Puniet's custom W650

Fri, 16 Dec 2011

MotoGP star Randy de Puniet commissioned Deus customs to build him a motorcycle for the streets of Sydney. Randy's brief was for a middleweight, 2-up twin that would be light enough to slice through the city streets and have the power for blasts on the open road, and have orange, black and white for the paint. Deus chose the Kawasaki W650, lowered it at both ends, fitted an SR500 tank, lobbed the old air box and added K&N filters, stuck on a custom 2-into-2 exhaust system and added low-profile fenders to finish off the clean and simple look.

Wed, 22 Jan 2014

Martin Williams, the man who had his motorcycle stolen halfway through his trip around the world, has been reunited with his Kawasaki. A man walking his dog one morning spotted the bike and reported it to authorities. Williams was obviously elated to get his bike back, but the thieves unfortunately had their way with it before it was recovered.
