Kawasaki KLR description

I'm selling a well cared for KLR 650. This bike is all set up for long distance touring, and has many extras! I was planning on riding it across country, but am no longer able to do so. I am the second owner of this bike, and I have taken good care of it, oil changed regularly, with synthetic 10-w40. The first owner said the bike burned oil. So, he had the 685 kit installed to fix the problem. I have found no evidence of any oil burning while I have owned it.The only thing missing at this point is a rider! Come check it out! you may text, e-mail, or give me a call.

2013 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R Homologated for AMA Pro Racing Despite 636cc Displacement

Wed, 06 Mar 2013 00:00:00 -0800

The 2013 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R has been homologated for AMA Pro Racing, making it eligible for the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes for 2013. The news comes as a bit of a surprise as those classes typically consist of Inline Four racebikes with a displacement smaller than 600cc. The new Ninja ZX-6R immediately carries a displacement advantage over its I-4 competition in the class such as the Honda CBR600R, Suzuki GSX-R600 and Yamaha YZF-R6.

US Motorcycle Thefts Down 6% in 2011

Tue, 09 Oct 2012 00:00:00 -0700

Americans reported 46,667 motorcycle thefts in 2011, a 6% decrease from 49,791 stolen motorcycles in 2010, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau. Despite the drop in reported thefts, the non-profit organization representing nearly 1100 property and casualty insurance companies says the theft rate still averages out to one motorcycle stolen every 11 minutes in the U.S. The numbers were published in the NICB’s 2011 ForeCAST Report which examined theft reports as well as recoveries.
