1977 KAWASAKI KD125 - NICE ORIGINAL SURVIVOR. RUNS AWESOME, VERY FAST. BIKE IS IN VERY GOOD SHAPE. IT HAS BEEN TORN DOWN CLEANED, PAINTED AND LUBED AND IT RUNS GREAT. IT COULD STILL USE A LITTLE TLC IN ORDER TO BE PERFECT. THIS BIKE IS NOT A TRAILER QUEEN AND IT HAS BEEN USED AND RIDDEN AND HAS SOME NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR. I THINK THE TIRES ARE ORIGINAL AND THEY HAVE A LITTLE CRACKING. ONE SMALL PIN HOLE AND A SMALL PIECE OF BEADING IS LOOSE ON THE SEAT (SEE PICTURES). Kawasaki Issues Recall on Unauthorized Concours 14 Police Models

Kawasaki announced a recall on 44 2012-2013 Concours 14 potentially faulty motorcycles allegedly converted for police use without the manufacturer’s consent. Back in early 2012, Kawasaki announced a recall on 278 2009-2012 Concours 14 police motorcycles because the add-on equipment installed by Idaho-based Beaudry Motors suffered electrical problems. According to the recall documents, the electrical system installed by Beaudry could overload the charging circuit between the regulator and the two batteries and eventually blow the main fuse.

Eugene Laverty, aboard his Voltcom Crescent Suzuki GSX-R1000, led the field today as the first day of World Superbike testing got underway at the Phillip Island circuit in Australia, site of the first race of the 2014 season. Under sunny skies and perfect weather conditions, Laverty adapted quickly to his new ride after spending last season aboard the Aprilia RSV4 Factory. The Suzuki offered incredible feedback and allowed him to push right out of the gates, ultimately setting a fastest lap time of 1:30.513.
