KTM Other description

This is an awesome bike. I've had it since the spring and I love it. Wife said its time to move on to something more practical. I bought this bike from the original owner and he babied it. He said he never pre-owned it on road and never jumped it. It is strictly a trail bike. I put the street tires on it and pre-owned it as a commuter to and from work which is 25mis each way. I put about 2000mis on it and 40 hours. All of the scheduled maintenance has been done and is recorded in the back of the owners manual. It's all stock with the exception of the tires which are Bridgestone battlaxe tires, the exhaust has been unrestricted, and the carb had new high flow jets. The new tires have about 500mis on them. I do have the old dual sport tires which will come with the bike the front tire is 90% and the back more like 30%. I just did an oil change two days ago. I recently replaced the air filter . It's ready to ride and a lot of fun. Price is 4200 O.B.O I am also open to trades I'm looking for a cruiser 1100 or bigger Honda, Harley, victory, Yamaha, Suzuki let me know what you got. My number is 313 four one two 0407 text me or call me between 8am and 11pm I can text you pics or answer any other questions you may have

India Raises Import Duty on Motorcycles to 75%

Thu, 28 Feb 2013

The government of India has laid out its budget for 2013-2014, increasing the import duty for large motorcycles. The news will impact several major manufacturers hoping to gain a stake in the world’s second largest motorcycle market. India has become the hotspot for manufacturers but one of the biggest obstacles they face is the duty India levies on luxury goods.

Why KTM's sport 350 is a good idea

Wed, 10 Aug 2011

KTM were unlucky when their plans were leaked (for covert market research?). Amongst those listed was the forecast for a Moto3 350. Now it is unlikely that the Moto3 class is going to grow from 250 to 350 by 2014, unless KTM are aware of something that the MotoGP rule-makers aren't.
