KTM Other description

2006 KTM 250 SXF, This orange 2006 KTM 250 SXF is a super clean bike and is very well maintained. Our Price &2,400. Please call or email us for more information. The KTM 250 SX-F is a real milestone in the company history and certainly the star of the SX models in 2006. Thanks to the innovative engine with double overhead camshafts, the redesigned chassis with forged rocker arm and many other high quality details, it will be hard going for the competitors. And in the truest sense of the word, the new 250 cc 4-stroke DOHC engine is the real heart of the KTM 250 SX. After the engine proved its power and reliability in the 2004 and 2005 World Championships, we've now let the beast off the chain and made it the series engine. Better hold on tight, this thing goes like the Devil. Duke-Based 2015 200 KTM Supermoto Spied

Wed, 11 Dec 2013

KTM is following-up its small-displacement naked Duke and RC sportbike models with a new line of supermotos based off of the same platform. As with the Duke and RC models, we should expect KTM to offer supermotos in 125, 200 and 390 versions, all sharing similar engines and frames. A test mule of what appears to be a KTM 125 or 200 Supermoto prototype was spotted fueling up somewhere in Europe and from the photograph (see below for a larger version) above we can see a swingarm, ten-spoke wheels and trellis frame that appear identical to those on the Duke.

Dakar is an international, bad-ass, multi-day off-road event and if you’re not a fan you should be. Crossing the borders of Argentina, Bolivia and Chile the route takes motorcycle and ATV competitors through more than 5400 miles of extreme riding conditions. Competing cars and trucks go even farther.
