KTM EXC description

This is a 2011 KTM 450Exc in excellent condition. I bought it new in 2012 and have pampered it. Stored in a heated garage and ridden with care. The bike is in perfect condition! I am 52 and a yoga teacher so I am really not using this amazing machine as it should be used.  It runs perfectly! Other than a couple of minor scratches it is practically new. I don't use it and it is a pity for this bike to be sitting. I am ready to give it the next owner who can enjoy it !

Dakar Begins This Sunday!

Thu, 02 Jan 2014

Dakar is an international, bad-ass, multi-day off-road event and if you’re not a fan you should be. Crossing the borders of Argentina, Bolivia and Chile the route takes motorcycle and ATV competitors through more than 5400 miles of extreme riding conditions. Competing cars and trucks go even farther.

Top Five Motorcycle-Themed Harlem Shake Videos

Are you tired of the Harlem Shake yet? The Internet meme has been around for a couple of weeks now with what seems like everyone and their third cousin producing their own take on the theme. For those lucky few who have no idea what the Harlem Shake is, it’s a new fad based around a track by the same name produced by Brooklyn DJ Baauer.

Carbon Fibre race bikes, and a KTM makes it debut on the BSB Motostar rostrum

Tue, 26 Jun 2012

Many think Carbon Fibre chassis are relatively new to motorcycle racing but I can lay claim to having been there and done that almost thirty years ago. I first rode a Carbon/Kevlar 250cc Armstrong in 1983 before going on to grab four British titles and pretty much every national lap record over the next three years. I also had some top ten 250cc Grand Prix finishes although I was totally gutted when my team mate Donnie McLeod topped me by finishing 2nd in the Belgian GP at Spa.
