Hey Gang we have a one of A kind Custom 02 Indian - it was my father n laws and he passed away and we inherited it. He was the original owner. He bought the bike from the Gilroy Indian Plant. It started life as an 02 Spirit Deluxe and he had a Chief front and rear put on it. Custom one of a kind. It has a 88 S&S motor with approx. 14k miles on it w/5spd. He had the carb and exhaust work pumped up at dealer. He always had all services done at the dealer (either Santa Rosa or Citrus Heights ) Indian dealers. Tires have less than 100 miles on them. Also has a set of Harley Hardbags with custom Indian brackets made to fit and look factory. Tons and tons of time and money went into this bike .Be different. The long-awaited introduction of the all-new 2009 Indian Chief motorcycle has finally arrived. After almost five years of, product development, testing, speculation and dealer development, Indian Motorcycle has announced that the first shipment of 2009 Indian Chiefs has been shipped to seven dealerships across the nation. For 2009, Indian will offer four distinct Chief models, including the Chief Standard, Chief Deluxe, Chief Roadmaster and Chief Vintage with base prices ranging from $30,999 to $35,499 respectively.

Three-time NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Champion Ron Hornaday recently took delivery of his 2009 Indian Chief Vintage at Indian Motorcycle Charlotte. Hornaday’s top-of-the-line black & burgundy Vintage was built to his specifications and features optional painted rims, black leather saddlebags and seat with fringed leather. Hornaday mentioned that one of his favorite photos is of his father, a racing legend himself, seated on an Indian Chief, just before he sold it to go into the Army.
