Vespa Arrives in India

Piaggio has launched its Vespa brand in India, introducing the iconic scooter to the world’s second-largest two-wheeler market. When we think of motorcycle in India, we tend to think of low-cost small displacement motorcycles and scooters. That’s beginning to change with the influx of larger displacement models commonly found in other markets.

Yes, that’s the actual name of a production motorcycle designed by Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, a Honda subsidiary. In his review of the 150cc motorcycle, Rajeev Gaikwad said the Honda Unicorn Dazzler was “a handsome commuter with an enthusiastic and proven engine” though it was underwhelming in terms of performance and handling as the higher-priced successor to the regular Honda Unicorn also sold in India.

Indian Motorcycle Rolls in to Cleveland for the IMS

This weekend the Progressive International Motorcycle Show (IMS) rolls into Cleveland’s I-X Convention Center this weekend. Following much of the same schedule that was used in the Washington, DC IMS event, Indian Motorcycle will keep the program action-packed for all attendees who visit the Indian display area.
