Wed, 14 Sep 2011

The 2012 Husqvarna Nuda 900R made its public debut in Frankfurt, Germany, in the courtyard outside BMW’s display hall. Displayed together with other Husqvarna models as well as motorcycles from parent company BMW. The display bikes were all anchored firmly to their stands and test rides were not available but I did get some seat time on the Nuda.

EICMA 2012: Introducing the Brutus, the Two-Wheeled SUV

Thu, 15 Nov 2012

You’d be forgiven if you thought the motorcycle pictured here was a Husqvarna on steroids. No, despite the red and white colors and Husky’s recent reputation for showcasing surprising concept models at EICMA (such as the Mille 3 in 2010 and the Baja at this year’s show), the bike shown here is an all new model called the Brutus from a company called Over. Designed by Alessandro Tartarini, formerly Lambretta designer and son of the founder of Italian motorcycle company Italjet, the Brutus is a pre-production concept that has been described as being a two-wheeled SUV.

Husqvarna Teases New Prototype for EICMA

Thu, 31 Oct 2013

It appears we had nothing to fear, as Husqvarna announced it would unveil a new prototype at EICMA that will “offer a visual incite into the future evolution of the brand”. We’re pretty sure Husky meant “insight” there, but we’ll forgive the Swedish brand if the prototype is as impressive as advertised.
