The dirt-road - Terra - features a 652 cc single-cylinder DOHC motor based on BMW’s venerable G 650 GS engine. A modified EFI system, redesigned cams, higher compression and revised piston and cylinder head increase the power output, allowing the TR650 to boast 58 horsepower while still offering excellent fuel capacity of over 55 mpg.

2011 a Success for Husqvarna North America
Wed, 08 Feb 2012Husqvarna‘s worldwide shipment totals were down 23% in 2011 but the numbers don’t tell the whole story for the BMW-owned brand, especially when it comes to the North American market. According to BMW’s 2011 fiscal year report, Husqvarna delivered 9,286 units in 2011, compared to 12,066 units in 2010. What those figures do not explain is BMW intentionally reduced supply to dealerships to help clear excess inventory.
Danny Kent’s 2014 Moto3 Husqvarna
Tue, 28 Jan 2014Following the announcement in November last year that Husqvarna will fieldBritains Danny Kent and Finnish rider Niklas Ajoin a Red Bull-backed Moto3 effort comes the first photos of the bike in its racing livery. Kent had previously raced Moto3 for KTM and team manager, Aki Ajo, winning races at Valencia and Motegi in 2012.Niklas Ajo will be racing his third season in Moto3 next year, after finishing 19th overall in 2012 and 14th in 2013. According to Husky’s Facebook page the team is busysetting up the Moto3 bikes for the upcoming season.

So there is very little time left before we finally see the machine in the dealer's showrooms! Moreover, the guys from the British MCN have already managed to ride the Husqvarna Norden 901.
