2002 model, sold new in 2003, ridden very little. Stored indoors/not ridden since 2005. Was rebuilt with many new parts before
being placed in storage. Recently started, runs good. Sold as is, condition shown in photos. No warranties expressed or implied. Has original mfg. paperwork and owners manual. Per Ohio BMV laws, ownership transfers with bill of sale, after payment is made. Can be shipped at buyers expense. |

Husqvarna Developing ABS for Off-Road Use
Thu, 03 Nov 2011Husqvarna announced it will introduce the worlds’ first anti-lock braking system designed for off-road racing, equipping a BMW-developed off-road ABS to Husqvarna’s flagship TE449. On paved roads, ABS prevents wheels from locking up, keeping them rotating and providing traction. Off the pavement however, rear wheel lockup is helpful for stopping on loose surfaces such as dirt and gravel.

BMW Sells Husqvarna to Pierer Industrie AG
Thu, 31 Jan 2013The BMW Group has announced the sale of 110-year old Husqvarna Motorcycles to Austrian-based Pierer Industrie AG. “The BMW Group signed a purchase agreement with Pierer Industrie AG (Austria) for the acquisition of Husqvarna Motorcycles. The acquisition will proceed subject to approval by anti-trust authorities.
