The hip is finally getting me! I knew this day was coming but I am not happy about it. You are looking at a great motorcycle. I have owned it for about 7 years and loved every second of my riding. With the six cylinder engine there is more torque than you might expect. My Harley buddies never want to admit how great (and faster) the bike is but it is a screamer. In addition, the ride is great on a long ride. I put a Mustang front and back seat (with backrest)and Cobra floorboards on to make the long rides even better. In addition, this year I just installed 4" handlebar risers to bring the bars back just a little. Of course I have all the original parts to go along with the winning bidder. A cover is included which has been used twice. There is a small repairable (paintless dent repair) ding on the tank. nothing huge but it's there and you can see it in the pictures. I have some contacts for shipping if you don't know any. I promise you will not be disappointed in this bike. AMA Pro Flat Track Stars to Face Off in Ride Academy “Race of Legends”
Fri, 12 Apr 2013When the AMA Flat Track stars of today compete at the spring Springfield Mile, May 26 at the Illinois State Fairgrounds, they will be joined by the stars of the past, taking part in the “Ride of Legends“. Hosted by the Illinois Motorcycle Dealers Association and Ride Academy, a riding school founded by multiple Grand National race winner Mike Hacker, the “Ride of Legends” exhibition race will feature several other past Grand National event winners racing each other on Honda dirt bikes. Joining Hacker will be Jay Springsteen, Joe Kopp, Rich King, Ronnie Jones, Steve Beattie, Steve Moorehead and Chris Carr.

This has to stop. My criteria is fairly simple: I want something that is cheap to buy (close to £2k), cheap to run, frugal on the fuel, easy to ride, nimble through traffic, dull enough to not get nicked and ABS is a deal-maker.

Mon, 24 Mar 2014James Stewart captured his series-leading fourth AMA Supercross 450 class win of the season, giving him sole possession of second place on the overall career wins list ahead of Ricky Carmichael and behind Jeremy McGrath. The win also helped Stewart gain some ground on points leader Ryan Villopoto who suffered from a bout of food poisoning. Villopoto was examined at a Toronto hospital and released in time for the opening ceremonies.
