We have a showroom condition, low mileage, 2004 Honda NRX1800 Valkyrie Rune that needs a new home! This is a 1 owner - sold by our dealership in 2004 - 8700 miles and like new condition! The bike is nearly stock with the exception of highway pegs that were added. We have an additional Ultimate Seat for the bike and a brand new front tire that we will install or just give to the buyer with the sale of the bike. Over the past few years, especially since the height of the economic crisis, more and more women have turned to motorcycling both as a way to save on fuel costs, but also to experience the joys of the open road. In an article recently published by Consumer Reports, some tips are provided for women looking to enter the sport for the first time. The first bit of advice is to “Sit on a lot of different bikes first,” says Angela Annamalai of Shelby’s Powersports in Bronx, New York.

As I’ve been gagging for the new race season to kick off so it was almost a pleasure getting up at stupid 0 clock to watch the World Superbike Championship  opener at Phillip Island last weekend. I have to say Messrs Burnicle and Whitham were on form although I was disappointed there were none of the usual verbal attacks on each other that always add to the entertainment.    I’m sure they will put things right soon but the world superbike regulars must have been disheartened that Moto GP veterans nailed five of the six available rostrum slots.
