Honda VTX description

2006 Honda Vtx 1300C,  great condition. 1300cc V-twin, four stroke, two cylinder, carburetor, shaft drive, disk brakes. Bike has less than 23,000 miles. This is a custom model with 16 inch apes and hard shell saddle bags and saw blade wheels. The VTX series has a muscular looking body, it is quite long and low to the ground featuring significant rake and trail. Bike has a mustang seat (driver and passenger).  The rear seat is not shown in picture.  Also not shown in picture is a rear seat sissy bar.  The bike also has custom exhaust and sounds awesome.  The bike is ready to go with clear title but a lien is held at a local bank and will be settled at time of pick up.  A  $500.00 deposit at end of auction via pay pal. A newly-published patent application reveals Honda is working on a retro-styled dual sport. The application, filed with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, reveals a streetbike with round headlight and mirrors but with hand guards, wire spokes and a high-rising exhaust suggesting some off-road capability.

Casey Stoner's decision to retire at the end of the season has had a real shake-up for the Repsol Honda line-up along with the discussion, rumour and speculation of who will take his vacated seat for next season. With silly season occurring much earlier following Stoner's announcement at the French GP in May, rumours and speculation have been banded around with three candidates leading the way: Jorge Lorenzo, Valentino Rossi and Marc Marquez. Lorenzo, until he was confirmed to stick with Yamaha for another two seasons, was the most plausible of the trio as both himself and Casey are the top two riders in the world right now, making him the obvious choice after the Australian departs.

Nicky Hayden Makes Aspar Team Debut Testing Honda RCV1000R

American racer Nicky Hayden made his first appearance with the Aspar Team, testing the Honda RCV1000R production racer at the official MotoGP post-season test at Spain’s Valencia circuit. Hayden completed 76 laps on the RCV1000R, posting a top lap time of 1:32.576, putting him 13th on the time sheet. The test time was 0.188 seconds faster than his top lap time in Sunday’s race at Valencia on the Ducati Desmosedici.
