Honda Shadow description

2013 Honda Shadow Phantom (VT750C2B), You've never seen a Shadow like this. - You've never seen a Shadow like this. The first time you lay eyes on the Shadow Phantom, it’s impossible to keep yourself from staring. Gawking, really. And wishing you had one in your garage. After all, this is the most unique Shadow we’ve ever made, an utterly stunning head-turner with its blacked-out 745 cc V-twin engine and black rims sporting matte silver highlights, bobbed fenders, spoke wheels, and beefy front forks. Then the exhaust note hits you, a deep, throaty pulse rumbling from dual exhausts. It’s hard to resist, we know. And downright impossible once you’ve seen its price tag.

Fri, 10 Jan 2014 00:00:00 -0800

Sherco rider Alain Duclos took today’s stage, eight years after his first win in Bamako. With three top five finishes this year Duclos has proven his own increased competitiveness as well as that of the Sherco 450 Rally bike he’s aboard. In more tragic news, the body of Belgian rider, Eric Palante was found Friday morning on a part of the fifth stage route that riders completed on Thursday.

Honda Gold Wing Brake Recall – Round 2

Tue, 09 Sep 2014 00:00:00 -0700

While Honda has never seemed like a company to follow the old saw “We do it right because we do it twice,” the company has just announced a second recall of 126,000 GL 1800 and GL 1800A models to address a dragging rear brake problem that is serious enough to potentially cause a fire. We feel comfortable saying that this is certainly not the type of heated seats Gold Wing riders would want to have. The affected models come from a variety of years.

2012 Honda VFR1200F Returns With Some New Features

Tue, 08 Nov 2011 00:00:00 -0800

When Honda first introduced the VFR1200F late in 2009, Editor Duke was an instant believer in the machine’s capabilities. It blurred the line between sportbike and tourer, and the addition of a true dual-clutch transmission that actually works was truly a surprise. Honda is bringing the VFR back for 2012, much to our pleasure, and thankfully the company has spent the past two years developing some subtle but significant changes to it.
