2013 Long Beach International Motorcycle Show Report

After feasting from a continental breakfast buffet the discerning journalists set to the task of reporting on the bounty of new model motorcycles – most of which has been previously showcased in our November EICMA reporting. 2013 Honda CB150R Streetfire Unveiled in Indonesia
Wed, 31 Oct 2012Honda‘s Indonesian affiliate Astra Honda Motor unveiled a new CB150R Streetfire at the Jakarta Motorcycle Show. At this point, the Streetfire is only destined for the Indonesia market as the naked version of the Honda CBR150R (which itself a smaller version of the CBR250R), but it does give us an idea of what a potential CB250R would look like, if Honda decides to produce one. The Honda CB150R Streetfire is powered by the 150cc liquid-cooled engine as the CBR150R.
Things I wouldn't like to race: Part 1
Mon, 25 Jul 2011Now I know that Mike Hailwood raced a 6-cylinder Honda but that's no excuse for this CBX I spotted at the Bikers Days Spa Classic. The 1047cc, inline 6 cylinder, 24 Valve, DOHC Honda might be a feat of engineering brilliance but it looks like it would be a right handful on track. I've added a picture of an oil tanker to give you an idea of just how long the CBX's wheelbase really is.
