1994 Honda VT 600 Shadow with Unknown Mileage. This bike is a bit older than most of the bikes that we sell so it has been priced to reflect that fact. It has a 600 CC V-Twin cylinder, 4 stroke engine with a five gear transmission. There is a single disk brake on the front and a shoe brake on the rear wheel to provide plenty of stopping power. We have rated the bike as being in Average condition for its age, mostly due the dent in the gas tank. 2014 WSBK – Portimao Results
Mon, 07 Jul 2014Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes extended his championship lead while a Race Two collision between Aprilia teammates Sylvain Guintoli and Marco Melandri provided drama in the World Superbike Championship round at Portugal’s Portimao track. Sykes qualified on the pole in a sun-draped Superpole session but the clouds rolled in on race day, forcing teams to plan for mixed weather. An overcast sky presided over a dry Race One, leading to a mix of tire choices but all of the racers switched to wet tires for Race Two that saw the scheduled 20-lap length reduced to 18 laps.
Electric Honda Motorcycle to Debut Next Year
Tue, 04 Aug 2009According to Honda’s head of motorcycle operations, Tatsuhiro Oyama, the lithium-ion battery powered motorcycle will target corporate customers which may include Japan Post and delivery companies, the bike will debut in Japan next year. Oyama, made the announcement on August 1st at a test drive event in Motegi, Japan. Honda started building a battery factory earlier this year with joint-venture partner GS Yuasa, manufacturing batteries for Honda’s electric hybrid cars but Oyama declined to disclose the motorcycle battery supplier.
