Honda Rebel description

Up for sale is a super clean 1987 Honda Rebel 450cc. These bikes were only made in 1986 and 1987. I purchased this bike because I had always wanted one and it was so clean, I brought it to a shop in my area to make it like new. It has new Perelli Route 66 tires, front and rear brakes, new o-ring chain and sprockets, oil, filter, plugs, carb. clean, air filter, and clutch cable. It also has a new battery.
I also put on alot of accessories. Saddlemen tool bag, bag supports and saddlebags, studded tank bib(to cover tiny dent by gas cap), engine guard, sissy bar & pad and windshield.
There is nothing left to do to this bike except ride it. I don't want to sell it now that I have it the way I wanted it but recent medical issues will prevent me from riding again. I have another bike I have to sell too. It's on Craigslist right now.
You will not be disappointed in this bike and will be able to enjoy it for many years. It also comes with some hard to find parts just in case.
Serious bidders only  - I will accept cashiers check for full payment but you will not set up shipping until it clears. Shipping is the buyers responsibility but I will be available to assist truck driver. Title and keys will be sent prior to bike being picked up. If you have questions, ask BEFORE bidding. If you can't pay, Don't bid!  Thanks for looking and good luck!

MotoGP to Hold Official Test in Argentina; South American Nation Returning to Calendar for 2014

Thu, 11 Apr 2013

Dorna Sports announced there will be a MotoGP test at Argentina’s Circuito Internacional Termas de Rio Hondo in July to allow teams to prepare for the track’s expected addition to the 2014 MotoGP calendar. Argentina was actually supposed to join the MotoGP tour this season, but the round was scrapped because of a dispute between the country and Spain after the Argentine government seized control of a Repsol subsidiary. Repsol is, of course, a prominent sponsor of several teams including Honda‘s factory team.

Things I wouldn't like to race: Part 1

Mon, 25 Jul 2011

Now I know that Mike Hailwood raced a 6-cylinder Honda but that's no excuse for this CBX I spotted at the Bikers Days Spa Classic. The 1047cc, inline 6 cylinder, 24 Valve, DOHC Honda might be a feat of engineering brilliance but it looks like it would be a right handful on track. I've added a picture of an oil tanker to give you an idea of just how long the CBX's wheelbase really is.
