Honda Other description

I am looking to trade both these for 1. I would consider both projects but the Honda only due to it is not tagged and inspected and needs a little work.1996 Honda civic. Does run and drive. Not tagged or inspected has erratic idle. Have replaced the idle air control valve and did not fix I do have a throttle position sensor but have not installed. Car also needs a battery can jump off to show it runs. Body is in terrific shape paint is faded and back plastic bumper has a hole as shown in pics. I do have the title and it is a salvage title so I will say that upfront. 1.6L four cyl non vtec with a 5 gear. 17" rims with low profile tires. No radio and it does have a alarm alarm on the car.1981 Yamaha XS850 triple limited bobber project. Has everything pictured and all the original parts as well as original seat. New Z bars and the old bars. New rear tire. Ran good but has not been cranked in over 3 mnths. Battery dead and only have kick start (old school) may just need the battery hooked up and jumped I have never actually tried. Just too busy to find time to work on and too many projects. I do have the title to the bike and it had less than 13K original miles. Has been converted to a hardtail but as you see in the pics still have the shocks. I am looking to trade both for a street bike ready for the road. Doesn't matter bobber, crotch or cruiser would prefer 600 and up. Can need work if mainly cosmetic just don't have time for projects. I may also consider a nice quad as well.Email or text 972-877-973two. I will get back with you as quick as I can but work a lot of hours.

2013 Honda CB500F, CB500X and CBR500R Recalled in Australia

Tue, 18 Feb 2014

Honda has recalled its 2013 CB500F, CB500X and CBR500R models in Australia because of a defect that could cause an oil leak. At the moment, no recall has been announced for the U.S., though there is a good possibility one will be announced shortly, as all 500-series models are manufactured in the same Honda factory in Thailand. There is a similar recall for the Japanese market for the CB400F, CB400X and CBR400R, which are mechanically identical to Honda’s 500-series models, but with a smaller engine to meet the country’s tiered licensing requirements.  According to the Australian and Japanese recall notices, the rocker arm shaft sealing bolt may come loose, causing oil to leak from the engine.

New Delhi Auto Expo 2012 – Motorcycle Manufacturers Draw Battle Lines for World’s Second Largest Market

Mon, 09 Jan 2012

In past years, the biennial Auto Expo in India slipped under the radar while the industry was focused more on shows such as EICMA in Italy and Intermot in Germany. But with India’s middle class starting to flex its financial muscle while other markets continue to struggle, the New Delhi show is becoming much more prominent, with major OEMs positioning themselves to claim a piece of the India’s 13 million vehicles-a-year market. We’ve already looked at India-produced Royal Enfield’s new Thunderbird 500 and Hero Moto’s hybrid scooter concept which debuted at the Auto Expo, and today we’ll look at what the major international OEMs presented.

AMA Supercross: 2012 New Orleans Results

Mon, 16 Apr 2012

Ryan Villopoto has already secured the 2012 AMA Supercross Championship but that doesn’t mean he’s ready to let up and take it easy over the remainder of the season. The Monster Energy Kawasaki racer clinched his second consecutive title two weeks ago in Houston, Texas, but he continued his dominance in AMA Supercross’ return to New Orleans’ Superdome, taking the holeshot and leading all 20 laps for his ninth win of the season in 14 rounds. The New Orleans round may have lacked some big names currently nursing injuries such as Ryan Dungey, James Stewart and Chad Reed, but Villopoto provided a star effort in the first AMA Supercross race in the city since 2009.
