Honda Other description

79 Honda Twinstar 185 with Sidecar, very rare, amazing good condition-shows well-California bike-never stored outdoors, no rust-always keep inside,   I am told that the bike-sidecar combo was a factory option or maybe a dealer add on option- looks like a factory matching unit, it well sized and fitted to the bike. It has been used in Parades and Business promo-advertising in the past. Has a light weight side car that is really cool, adult can sit in it, good for hauling around grandkids-I bought it to train my dog to ride in a sidecar-he loves to go for rides in it, now its time for a big bike with a side car, runs great, perfect condition, The sprocket has been changed to lower the gearing,  it still hits 55 mph no problem, some of the pictures still shows the higher handle bars before I changed them, it has vinyl snap on cover for sidecar, only has 1550 miles and is a kick to drive. It needs nothing, a real eye catcher, call Bob at my office at 530-528-1000

Stoner Tests Honda RCV1000R MotoGP Production Racer

Thu, 03 Oct 2013

Retired two-time MotoGP Champion Casey Stoner returned to the track this week to test Honda‘s RC213V racer as well as the company’s new RCV1000R production racer at the Twin Ring Motegi circuit in Japan. This was Stoner’s first test on the production racer after rain cut short a previous test session in August. The weather again threatened to derail Honda’s testing plans, wiping out the first day of the two-day test but Stoner was able to finally able to put in some laps on the production racer and came away impressed.

Recall for 2008-2010 Honda ST1300

Mon, 18 Jul 2011

Honda is recalling certain 2009-2010 ST1300 sport touring motorcycles due to a risk of a brake fluid leakage. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the pre-formed hose supplying fluid from the rear brake reservoir to the rear brake master cylinder is routed in a way that puts it at risk of damage. When the Honda ST1300 is heavily loaded and ridden over rough surfaces, the rear suspension may bottom out, causing the hose to contact the swingarm.

Honda Tuner Mugen Motorsports to Enter 2012 TT Zero Electric Race at Isle of Man

Thu, 16 Feb 2012

Engine tuning company Mugen Motorsports announced it will compete in the TT Zero electric motorcycle race at the 2012 Isle of Man TT. Though not officially a Honda company,Mugen was founded by Hirotoshi Honda, son of Honda founder Soichiro Honda, and the company is best known for its work as an engine tuner and parts maker for Honda vehicles. The Mugen entry to the TT Zero represents possibly the closest connection so far between a traditional motorcycle OEM and the relatively new realm of electric motorcycle racing.
