Honda Other description

2014 HONDA Grom, Okay, admit it: When you first look at the sporty and playful Grom you just have to smile. And no matter how long youve been riding, you just want to throw a leg over this bike and twist the throttle. Its an excellent fit for both new and experienced riders, but to Gen Y buyers in particular the Grom carries a bit of attitude while promising fun times: the compact frame size, low seat, inverted front fork and hydraulic disc brakes make this the real deal. And once you get rolling its easy to see this is no mini bike; the 125 cc engine delivers lots of torque plus smooth throttle response due to fuel injection, the 4-speed manual transmission works just like any other full-sized bike, the maneuverability and handling make it a joy to ride, and theres even room for a passenger. Factor in its efficient size with an affordable price, and theres just no way you can pass up this chance to get out and ride. Because no matter who you are, the Grom will keep you smiling, ride after ride.

2012 Honda CBR1000RR First Ride

Fri, 16 Dec 2011

First some bad news: the new 2012 Honda CBR1000RR doesn’t come with traction control. The good news: It doesn’t matter. It’s still an absolute blast to ride.

GSX-R600 and CBR250R the glass is half full

Wed, 13 Oct 2010

Suzuki’s GSX-R600 might not look that much different to the outgoing model but I suspect this bike could be very much a dark horse in 2011. I say this because two years ago I was definitely not building my hopes up en route to the K9 GSXR 1000 launch. The leaked pictures suggested the biggest change from the 2007 version would be some fresh graphics but I was so wrong.  As it turned out, I was greeted in Almeria with a brand new bike, built from the tarmac up and it proved to be more than a match in every department for the much hyped 2009 Yamaha R1.

Glen Richards back with Embassy Racing

Wed, 27 Oct 2010

One of the unsung heroes of the BSB paddock over the past few seasons, has to be 2010 Superstock 1000 runner up Glen Richards. A nasty tumble in at the Brands Hatch opener lead to four DNFs, but once back on track he pushed the dominant BMWs hard, finishing on the podium eight times. While many were trading their grannies to fund new S1000RRs, Richards kept the faith and rode the wheels off his Padgett’s Honda Fireblade.
