Honda Re-Signs Marc Marquez Through 2016 MotoGP Season
Wed, 14 May 2014Marc Marquez has signed a contract extension with Honda Racing Corporation that will see the reigning MotoGP champion stay with the manufacturer through the end of the 2016 season. “We are very satisfied to have reached an agreement to keep Marc in the team for a further two seasons,” says Shuhei Nakamoto, executive vice president of HRC. “Of course, as Honda, we wanted to keep Marc in our family, and he also wanted to stay with us so … it was natural to renew the contract even if it is very early in the season!
Honda CBR300R Confirmed for Canada for 2015
Tue, 01 Apr 2014It’s taken a while, but the Honda CBR300R has finally been confirmed for North America, as Honda Canada announced it would be available in the fall as a 2015 model. American Honda has yet to announced whether it would offer the CBR300R, but with today’s announcement of the NM4 and PCX150, we expect the CBR250R replacement will also be coming a a 2015 model. Wed, 28 Jul 2010Whenever the calendar shifts to a major Japanese race, such as the Suzuka 8hr, one of the more amusing things to do is glance down the team sheet This years highlight for me has to be team Moto Bum, with other stand outs including aprilia D.D.BOYS, Team Etching Factory Yamaha and MITO MOTO & e'freaks Honda. Looking back through the ages some of the great Japanese team names have been Burning Blood Racing Team, Dog Fight Racing and Team Moto Space amongst others.
