2010 Honda VT1300CX Fury, CLEAN HONDA FURY CHOPPER! - NICE 2010 HONDA FURY VTX1300CX WITH ONLY 1,293 MILES! Look at what happens when we give our designers the green light to create the bike of your wildest dreams! The daring Honda VT1300CX Fury captures the essence of the choppers of yesteryear, with its radically raked front end, sleek and smooth lines, and that big V-twin engine cradled by a spartan frame with a high-mount steering head. But where some retro-choppers are little more than impractical styling exercises, the VT1300CX Fury backs up its outrageous looks with advanced engineering, including a specially designed shaft-drive system. You get wild chopper looks, plus the handling and reliability you expect from a Honda. Features include: 1,312cc liquid-cooled V-twin SOHC engine, 5-speed transmission, front and rear disc brakes, custom handlebars and grips, custom lower chin scoop, custom air intake, rear view mirror, solo seat, and 3.4-gallon fuel tank. This bike has only 1,293 miles and is in excellent overall condition. There are minor scuffs on the rear fender (see pics/video). New Honda Fury TV Spot is Scary [Video]

Thu, 28 May 2009

Ok, it’s not THAT new… Somehow it slipped passed me back in April.  I guess I was too busy watching people do wheelies on scooters. The new 2010 Honda Fury TV spot has a lot of quick edits of intense scenes including a shark jumping up at your face and various animals and people screaming at you.  Let’s not forget the dude getting punched in the face and people getting blown around by a tornado. Ya, it’s INTENSE and kind of scary.  You don’t see too much of the bike except for it standing stationary near the end.

Own A Scale Model Of The Elf5, One Of The Most Unique Racing Motorcycles Ever

Tue, 01 Oct 2013

If you’re a fan of scale model racing motorcycle kits, this 1/12 scale model of the Elf5 racer, as ridden by Ron Haslam in 1988, should make your mouth water. Designed by famous F1 designer André de Cortanze, the Elf5 was the culmination of a radical experiment by de Cortanze and Elf, the French petroleum giant. And even though it didn’t claim the racing success Cortanze and Elf had hoped, the experimental Elf motorcycles hold a distinctive place in motorcycle racing history, with some of its technology still in use today.  Powered by a Honda NSR500 V4 engine that served as a stressed member and main mounting structure for the single-sided swingarms both front and rear, this recently released scale model is based closely on the actual Elf5 racing machines. This full detailed kit maintains the single-sided suspension, with the front suspension consisting of aluminum alloy and springs that will be partly movable.

Honda RC-E Electric Sportbike Revealed at 2011 Tokyo Motor Show

Wed, 30 Nov 2011

We’re still waiting for any technical details but here are initial photographs Honda has released of its new RC-E electric sportbike concept at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show. (Updated with six more high-resolution images.) Honda describes the RC-E as an electric version of a supersports bike, claiming a powerful and smooth ride for an electric vehicle within the compact form of a 250cc-class motorcycle. The images clearly show Brembo calipers and Ohlins suspension, and we especially like the LED headlights and the retro styling.
