FOR SALE: 2002 HONDA METROPOLITAN SCOOTER. The scooter runs and drives good and only has a little over 1000 mis on it. I just put a brand new high-quality battery on it as well. It gets over 100mis per gallon on the road. I bought it for my wife and she never rides it. So, if you are looking for a great Christmas gift for someone, look no further. It would make great transportation for a college student around campus as well. I will sell for $750 cash OR BEST FAIR OFFER which is well below what most are asking for these bikes and way below Kelly Blue Book. It has a good TN title as well and is fully street legal. Honda's latest advert celebrates the curiosity of their engineers and features classic motorcycles such as the Honda Cub and the RC112. A CBR and CRF also make an appearance along with a nod to that previous ad, a cog.
The New Fastest Electric Motorcycle Lap, With John McGuinness + Video
Fri, 06 Jun 2014Earlier this week, John McGuinness won the single-lap TT Zero electric motorcycle race at the Isle of Man TT aboard his Mugen Shinden San. In the process, the 21-time TT winner smashed the old lap record of 109.675 mph, setting an average speed of 117.366 mph from a standing start. To put that in perspective, McGuinness’ teammate, Bruce Anstey, aboard a sister Mugen, set the outright lap record earlier this week aboard his Honda CBR1000RR superbike of over 132 mph.
Honda NC700X Recall Expands to US
Fri, 28 Sep 2012As we expected, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has announced a recall on the 2012 Honda NC700X. The recall announcement comes a week after the NC700X and the NC700S were recalled in Canada. As with the Transport Canada recall, the problem is a lack of proper heat treatment on the Honda NC700X’s drive chain.
