2014 WSBK – Donington Results
Mon, 26 May 2014Tom Sykes and Loris Baz captured a pair of one-two finishes for Kawasaki at England’s Donington Park. The first race saw the reigning World Superbike champion fight his way up from 11th place for the win while Race 2 offered a three-way battle between the two Kawasaki riders and Aprilia‘s Sylvain Guintoli. Day 11 Dakar 2014: Coma Wins, Extends Overall Lead
Thu, 16 Jan 2014Day 11 marked the longest stage to date of the Dakar Rally, as the competitors tackled the 605km (376 miles) special stage, covering a variety of terrain, hard ground, mountains, plus 120km (75 miles) of sand and dunes in the Copiapo area. Despite this, and a fall at the beginning of the stage, Marc Coma again demonstrated his status as boss of the Dakar 2014, by picking up his third victory of the year, further reinforcing his position at the top of the general standings. Five-time Dakar winner Cyril Depres opened the piste for 400km before dropping slightly to finish just 02:31 behind Marc Coma in first.
A real Monster of a bike
Wed, 13 Jun 2012The bike above was once a Ducati Monster S4. It was restyled by Italian custom builder Ferruccio Codutti who took a year crafting the look out for aluminium for one of his customers. Ignoring the grotesque nose, Codutti's work is impressive as the front end was made by the man himself.
