I have 2 Honda shadows for sale both have clean clear titles ready to ride with no mechanical issues.1st bike is a 99 shadow 1100 spirit runs and rides well has new tires front & rear new brakes front & rear new plugs & oil & filter fresh final drive fluid.its a shaft drive liquid cooled has cobra everything-pipes,floorboards, shaft cover to much to list has front fork bag & saddle bags windshield and light bar has 17k orig miles always garage kept.2nd bike is a 87 shadow vt700 15k orig miles shaft drive liquid cooled seven gear. it also runs and rides well (very fast bike lots of power) it has new tires front & rear new brakes front & rear new fork seals all filters have been replaced oil and plugs carbs have been cleaned & synced has fresh final drive fluid and the clutch has been redone new gel battery with a tender.Both bikes have never been laid down always kept inside and on a tender.tanks are clean inside and out no rust dents or dings.I would like to sell both bikes for 4k. The alloy beam chassis houses Honda’s diminutive CRF250X uni-cam motor, normally seen wearing long travel suspension and knobbly tyres. The quick revving liquid cooled four-stroke motor offers electric-start convenience and a maintenance schedule that most two-stroke racers can only dream of.
Italian Authorities Seize Alleged Knockoffs from EICMA Show – Again
Fri, 08 Nov 2013In what’s become somewhat of a dubious EICMA tradition, Italian authorities have seized scooters from various show exhibitors because their designs allegedly infringed on the designs of other manufacturers. Back in 2011, authorities seized a three-wheeled scooter called the Yiben YB 250 ZKT because it was deemed to resemble the Piaggio MP3. Last year, authorities seized six models from five exhibitors that allegedly infringed on the trademarked design of Vespa scooters.
McGuinness Tests Mugen Shinden Electric Race Bike
Thu, 22 Mar 2012Isle of Man TT veteran John McGuinness recently got a chance to test the new Mugen Shinden electric rice bike to prepare for the 2012 TT Zero. The test took place at the Twin Ring Motegi in Japan, a world-class racing circuit but perhaps not-coincidentally, a track built and owned by Honda, further fueling the belief the Mugen effort is a front for the Japanese manufacturer. The Honda-contracted McGuinness put the Shinden through its first big test, helping the Mugen team gather data on the electric racer.
