I have a 1982 Honda FT 500 Ascot with 12,xxx original miles up for saleAside from the plastics being a little rough the bike is in attractive condition and was my daily driver around the little town I live in untell about a month agow the only thing it needs to be 100% rideable is rear shocks there $250 on-line It has a brand new battery, the tires are in terrific shape I just did a oil change less than 100 mis ago and a valve adjustment was done as well.It could probably use a new chain soon and the headlamp fuse is pulled do to over wattage headlamp draining the battery (need to install on/off switch it's better than having a candle for a light)There are some little quarks about the bike that you would need to get familiar with but that's to be expected with a bike of this age. Honda Sold 16.8 Million Motorcycles in 2013

Honda announced sales of 16.8 million motorcycles in 2013, an improvement of 8.7% from the 15.5 million motorcycles sold in 2012. The announcement was made two days before Honda’s third quarter report for the three months ended Dec. 31, 2013, so we will have to wait to hear the financial impact, but based on these numbers, the quarterly report should be positive.

Michael Dunlop captured his second victory in the 2013 Isle of Man TT, winning the first Supersport race a day after doing the same in the Superbike race. But it was a different Dunlop that led early on the first lap. Older brother William Dunlop on the Milwaukee Yamaha R6 had the fastest time through Glen Helen, between the ninth and tenth milestones of the Isle of Man’s Mountain course.

2012 US Motorcycle Sales Results – Industry Reports 2.6% Increase

The Motorcycle Industry Council reported a 2.6% increase in motorcycle sales in the U.S. market for 2012. According to the industry group’s figures, American consumers purchased 452,386 motorcycles in 2012 compared to 440,899 motorcycles in 2011.
