Great starter bike. 1981 Honda Gl500. Run great. 42k. $1300 or best offer. Engine and transmission runs strong, Dark green paint, in good conditions
It comes with a rear seat that pulls off and can be replaced by trunk (both included). Front Brake system was replaced last year by Liberty Vintage Cycle from discover channels short lived show Philly Throttle. Bike is as is. Please ask any question or take a look before bidding. Please keep in mind this is a 35 year old bike. Was used daily for a few years by me until i upgraded. It has been sitting for a bit unused and needs a good home. Bike is in Maple Shade, NJ. Honda premiered a new dual-sport powered by a 249cc engine reportedly based on the CBR250R’s power plant. The 2012 Honda CRF250L is a step up from the CRF230L and its carbureted air-cooled 223cc SOHC engine.

Wed, 14 Jul 2010Away from the pressures of being a Grand Prix racer in the days when fierce on-track battles and unexpected highsides were common place, Wayne Gardner throws a Honda VFR750F around Oran Park in Australia. The bike that Wayne is likely to be riding is special VFR750F, that was given the codename '6X'. The VFR was an experiment with prototype components including titanium valves and magnesium flat-slide carburetors, the result was the bike that weighed less than a factory RC30.
