Honda Other description
For sale is this vintage 1978 Honda Twinstar CM185T motorcycle in perfect working condition. An absolutely fantastic motorcycle for a beginner or someone smaller in stature, this unassuming bike is both beautiful and an immense pleasure to ride. It is extremely well preserved, features fantastic factory specs., and will certainly become your favorite mode of transportation. In my opinion, this particular version also has the best graphic combo, with subtle colors and pleasant typography. While this model has always been considered cute by most, it was until recently that mechanics have chosen the CM185T as the foundation for a smaller hot-rod moto. While the results are incredible, this 100% original 2-owner example is certainly worth preserving. Don't miss out on this low price listing with Worldwide shipping! With no visible rust, no body damage, no previous accidents, no hot-dogging, the only issue is the brights are currently intermittent, which is most likely a very simple issue if not user error. A new battery has been installed and just been fully charged/juiced. All of the fluids have been changed and it is currently fully serviced and ready to ride. The original luggage rack and extra foot pedal rack are included: these alone have sold for upward of $350 a piece due to their respective rarity. It hasn't been registered since 2004, and I do not have a pink slip (because the previous owner never received it), so the new owner will have to perform a lien sale via the DMV to re-acquire a new non-salvage title. It would be difficult to imagine a better example becoming available anytime soon, as this particular bike has been well-maintained since purchased new. There is a very very light fluid leak from the petrol tap valve, but it can easily be resolved with a $35 part. I only accept PayPal. Since this item is both fragile and sensitive, it will be shipped professionally with all new packing materials, and the box will be reinforced for maximum rigidity. It will also be shipped with insurance in the total amount of the sale. Shipping
and handling will be: WORLDWIDE SHIPPING AVAILABLE. (Price to be determined depending on buyer's location)Item Details

Honda Returning to AMA Pro Racing with Team Hammer and Dane Westby
Mon, 07 Jan 2013Days after the release of the reigning AMA Daytona Sportbike champion from his contract, the Geico Motorcycle race team announced it will field Dane Westby with the backing of Team Hammer on a Honda CBR600RR season. Westby rode last season for Team Hammer on the M4 Suzuki GSX-R600 to finish second overall behind fellow Team Hammer rider Martin Cardenas who raced on a Geico-sponsored Suzuki GSX-R600. Last week, Team Hammer released Cardenas from his contract option for the 2013 season so he could pursue opportunities in the Superbike class.
Honda’s View of the Motorcycle Industry in Canada
Fri, 13 Aug 2010Recently here on Motorcycle.com, we’ve been bringing you reviews of a handful of Honda scoots that are available to our neighbors (or is that neighbours?) to the North in Canada, yet remain forbidden fruit for American consumers. Reviewer Costa Mouzouris gave us a look at the naked CB1000R that Honda Canada is considering importing, the already-available half-faired CBF1000, and the entry-level CBR125R. Meanwhile, Honda’s competitors have also announced some new products for Canada that have yet to be made available in the U.S.
Team Mugen Returning to TT Zero with Shinden 2
Fri, 08 Feb 2013Noted Honda tuner Mugen announced it will compete in the 2013 TT Zero on the Isle of Man with an updated version of its Shinden electric sportbike. Mugen entered the Shinden at last year’s TT Zero, with Isle of Man veteran John McGuinness finishing second with an average speed of 102.215 mph. Team Mugen managed to break the 100mph barrier but fell short to the race winner Michael Rutter who rode the MotoCzysz E1PC.
