If you’re looking for an inexpensive, low mileage beginner or commuter bike this one is for you!  From what I know and can tell this bike is 100% original.  According to the previous owner, I am the fourth person to own the bike.

I bought this bike a few weeks ago because I really like the way it looks and because of its overall condition and performance.  The only reason I’m considering selling it is because I’ve put a total of 58 miles on it since buying it and I’ve come to the realization that I probably am not going to have enough time to ride both of my bikes.  If the bike sells for my asking price great, if not I’ll keep it and go through the maintenance this winter.  I have a clear title in hand.

I’ve added gas and installed a new inline fuel filter, that’s it.  The previous owner told me he installed a new battery and the battery does look to be brand new.  That’s really all the history I can provide, I have no maintenance records on the bike.  However, based on the motorcycles performance and looks I think it has been well maintained.  I don’t want to mislead anyone, this is a 30 year old motorcycle and I am sure that there are maintenance items that should be reviewed and completed.  I have both the Clymer and Honda field service manuals in pdf format that I can provide the new owner.  The bike is being sold as-is.

Here’s what I can tell you:

The bike has started and ran every time I’ve jumped on it.

The clutch shifts smoothly.

The acceleration is responsive.

The front and rear brake stop the bike quickly.

There’s a small tear on the seat.

The right side front turn signal is cracked.

There are some scratches on the gas tank and rear fender.

There is some bluing and rust on the exhaust headers.

There is some rust and light pitting on some of the chrome.

Everything works, I know of nothing on the bike that is inoperable.

I pasted a link to a video of the bike running so you could hear it.

I am also selling this bike locally and reserve the right to end the auction early.

16-year-old Sophie Walls is not your common teenager, along with achieving 14 GCSEs yesterday she balances her studies with being one of the youngest female racers in the country. Sophie rides a Honda RS125 in the Classic Motorcycle Racing Club and was fortunate that the Sir Graham Balfour School she attends in Stafford gives her sporting leave so she can travel to race meetings. She told thisisstaffordshire.co.uk: "My school gave me sporting leave, normally on a Friday, so I could travel to the race meetings.

How do 1000s compare to the 800s

Wed, 09 Nov 2011

Now MotoGP has completed its transformation from 800 to 1000cc, how do the lap times between the different bikes compare using Valencia and the post-season test as a benchmark.. Yesterday, Dani Pedrosa was the quickest 1000 on his Honda RC213V setting a time of 1:32.186. To find the quickest time from the outgoing 800 era you have to look at his current Repsol Honda team-mate, Casey Stoner, but it wasn't set on a Honda.

Stoner Tests Honda RCV1000R MotoGP Production Racer

Thu, 03 Oct 2013

Retired two-time MotoGP Champion Casey Stoner returned to the track this week to test Honda‘s RC213V racer as well as the company’s new RCV1000R production racer at the Twin Ring Motegi circuit in Japan. This was Stoner’s first test on the production racer after rain cut short a previous test session in August. The weather again threatened to derail Honda’s testing plans, wiping out the first day of the two-day test but Stoner was able to finally able to put in some laps on the production racer and came away impressed.
