Honda Magna description

If you're looking for the old Muscle Honda and want to do some TLC here it is.  My husband loved the bike...he can't use it in heaven and I'm too little to handle it.   By the way...before you read further. Do not contact me with offers that you know are so low as to be an insult.  If you can't make an offer on ebay, don't bother.  Selling this wonderful piece of machinery will help me pay the medical bills we incurred. In exchange for a fair price you will get a fabulous ride.

1984 Honda V65 Magna.  Bike was sitting for a little while (he stopped driving it in February 2012 and passed away in August) So after I got out of the fog of grief, we got it running again. Just some fresh gas, replaced the rectifier and fuel treatment was all it took.  I  put in a new battery just for good measure.   Custom Upholstery was done to make the seat new again.

We put on brand new Factory Honda grips  A used Rectifier and a set of used horns.

Bike could use some TLC forks need new seals and the rear fender is cracked.

This is a great bike to start your Old honda project.  A 1 owner bike.

Shipping will have to be arranged by the buyer.  Maybe U-Ship would be a great option.

I'll be happy to answer any questions. But please, make sure you are interested before you write.

Thanks for looking. I look forward to your purchase.

Nissin ABS Modulator Recall Explained in NHTSA Documents

Wed, 24 Jul 2013

Earlier this month, we published news about an issue with certain Nissin anti-lock brake system modulators that have been connected to recalls in Canada and Japan from Honda, Suzuki and Kawasaki, with the possibility of it expanding to further models and manufacturers using the same component. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has now released documents from American Honda’s recall of ABS-equipped CTX700 and CTX700N that shed some more light into the issue. According to the documentation, a manufacturing error may have resulted in Nissin ABS modulators being contaminated with aluminum chips.

Honda MotoGP Production Racer Undergoes Testing at Motegi

Mon, 27 May 2013

Development of Honda‘s new production racer is well underway, as the new (relatively) low-cost MotoGP racebike underwent testing at Japan’s Twin Ring Motegi circuit May 23-24. Conceived as a lower-cost option for race teams, the production racer project is running slightly behind schedule but Honda still expects it will available in time for the 2014 MotoGP season. Early reports estimate the price for the production racer to be around US$1.26 million, a substantial price, but still considerably less expensive than rumored $3.9 million it currently costs to lease a Honda RC213V for one season.
