The first race saw the reigning World Superbike champion fight his way up from 11th place for the win while Race 2 offered a three-way battle between the two Kawasaki riders and Aprilia‘s Sylvain Guintoli. Honda World Superbike livery unveiled

The Honda World Superbike team has unveiled the 2012 livery Jonathan Rea and Hiroshi Aoyama will campaign for the 2012 season. Using the official test as the first opportunity to debut the new livery, the design takes styling cues from one of the colour schemes of the 2012 Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade.

Honda to Compete in 2013 Dakar Rally

Honda announced it will enter a works team in the 2013 Dakar Rally‘s motorcycle class, returning to the event for the first time in 23 years. The Japanese manufacturer competed in the Rally from 1981 to 1989 when it was known as the Paris-Dakar Rally. Honda won five times during that period but then stopped entering its own team.
