1978 Honda Gold Wing, Very nice and very clean motorcycle. I got this bike 8 years ago. It has been in storage for the last 6 years. Runs excellent. 67,000 + miles. Everything works. Not perfect, but much better than your average 78 Goldwing. Even has the original tool kit. List of accessories and new parts: 8 years ago: New: Paint, Chrome, Seat (Travelcade Saddlegel), Kenwood AM-FM CD sterio, Alpine Marine Speakers, Dyna Electronic Ignition, Jardine Exhaust,Windshield, Chatterbox Intercom wu0002 Full Face Helment Headsets and Charger, Oil Screen, Water Pump. 6 Years ago: New: Tires, Wheel Bearings, Brake Pads, Highway Pads, Throttle Cables, Choke Cable. Spring of 2012: New: Battery, Rebuilt the front brake calipers, Rebuilt the rear Master-Cylinder, Flushed the fuel system, Flushed all the brake systems. Tested road worthy. I have several spare parts, including another windshield still in the box. Clymer Service-Repair-Maintenance Manual. Will include 1 medium size Full Face Helmet and 1 dusty Bike Cover. This remarkable shot of Eddie Lawson is taken by Rich Chenet. It was August 1980 and Lawson was undergoing a titanic scrap for the AMA title with Wes Cooley and Freddie Spencer here at Pocono Raceway in Philladelphia. The circuit is known as the 'Tricky Triangle' amongst the NASCAR drivers but the superbikes used a mix of infield and sections of the banked circuit.
