Honda Gold Wing description

Very good condition. Well kept and maintained. Runs good.Very reliable. All stock. Not restored. Original paint. Owner since 1985. Clear title. Average wear and tear for a 38 year old bike. 37,624 miles to date. Continental tires have tread, but are a little dry rotted. The original pipes are rusted where headers meet mufflers and have been patched through the years. Overall they are still solid. Seat reupholstered about 10 years ago, no rips or tears. Pictures show with and w/out fairing and luggage; (all included). Stock headlight, blinkers and reflectors included. All gauges and lights work. Tachometer is slow but works; it needs a damper in the gauge. Krauser brand, lockable and removable hard side bags; straps inside to secure contents. Fiberglass trunk w/luggage rack. Windjammer fairing. Also included are, owners manual and shop manual. Currently has windjammer and luggage installed. "Buy it and ride it home, wherever home may be. AMA Pro Flat Track Stars to Face Off in Ride Academy “Race of Legends”

When the AMA Flat Track stars of today compete at the spring Springfield Mile, May 26 at the Illinois State Fairgrounds, they will be joined by the stars of the past, taking part in the “Ride of Legends“. Hosted by the Illinois Motorcycle Dealers Association and Ride Academy, a riding school founded by multiple Grand National race winner Mike Hacker, the “Ride of Legends” exhibition race will feature several other past Grand National event winners racing each other on Honda dirt bikes. Joining Hacker will be Jay Springsteen, Joe Kopp, Rich King, Ronnie Jones, Steve Beattie, Steve Moorehead and Chris Carr.

Day 1 Dakar 2014: Barreda Draws First Blood

Team HRC’s Joan Barreda on the Honda CRF450 Rally, got off to a storming start in day one of the 2014 Dakar rally, clocking up the fastest time of all the 175 riders at the first time-check. The former Husqvarna rider who moved to Honda in the middle of the season inaugurated his 2014 Dakar with an acrobatic performance. The motorcycle competition was expected to be wide open, and that is indeed what the classification shows after the opening stage. It was a very early start for the Rally Dakar. The pack of riders headed off at four in the morning on a long 251 miles that took them towards the vibrant city of Rosario for the start of the 112 mile special.
