Honda Gold Wing description

1976 Honda Goldwing. 5-speed, 80hp, shaft-drive, water-cooled. I've owned bike for 3 years and rode approximately 3,000 miles. It's a wonderful cruiser. It's got 14,836 original miles and has had regular maintainance. The bike was in long term storage and between the previous owner and me the following areas have been addressed. Carbs rebuilt, engine polished, replaced filters, water pump, gas tank, $350.00 seat, belts, tires, fork seals, O-rings, rear fender, repaired radiator, extra chrome, repainted tank,side covers and added a Wixom fairing currently on bike. Fairing is easily removed. Original tool kit and period owners manual. Period Bates saddlebags and mounting brackets are available for extra cost. Lights on bags are added and need wiring. Bike is offered locally and will be removed if sold.

Marco Melandri earned BMW its second ever World Superbike victory to move into second place in the championship standings behind Max Biaggi in the series’ only stop in the United States. Melandri won a red-flagged Race Two at Utah’s Miller Motorsports Park after finishing second to defending WSBK Champion Carlos Checa in Race One to give him 142.5 points on the season, tied with Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes but behind Aprilia‘s Biaggi who leads the way with 160.5 points. Tom Sykes earned his first win of the 2013 season and came a hair short of a double victory at the World Superbike Championship round at Assen in the Netherlands. Traditionally a fast starter and qualifier, Sykes started on the pole once again at Assen and had strong starts in both races. But unlike the first two rounds where he started strong before fading, the Kawasaki factory rider was able to remain at the front in both races at Assen and earn some valuable championship points.
