Honda CT description

For sale is a 1970 Sapphire Blue K0 Honda CT70 CT 70 Mini Trail 70. This bike is sold with no title despite what the drop down menu made me select. The frame Vin is CT70-140031 and the motor Vin is CT70E-140013. These Vins are very close together and can be highly desired. The manufacture date of the frame is 1/70.  This bike does start within the first couple kicks and drives very nicely as it should. The bike is probably due for a "tune up kit" along with a good carburetor cleaning from sitting, age of the bike, and current mileage of 7,995. The motor does smoke a little when first started, but still has plenty of power to drive me around. The bike overall is in decent condition with about 40 years worth of normal wear and tear. The chrome does have some pitting and rusting. The paint is original also with 40 years of wear and tear. The exhaust had been repaired around the exhaust shield clamp, but still leaks and is louder than normal. The seat has been recovered and the pan is cracked. The handlebars are free at the knobs and will still fold down. I have tried to explain the bike to the best of my ability and represent the bike the best if could with the photos I have provided. If i have missed anything please contact me before bidding/ making offers and etc. Feel free to contact me to look the bike over personally or to come see it run and drive. Please check out my other auctions of several other Honda CT70 mini trails. I reserve the right to end auctions early as i have these bikes listed for sale locally. Also feel free to contact me for an outright package deal.

2014 AMA Supercross – Detroit Results

Mon, 17 Mar 2014

Yoshimura Suzuki‘s James Stewart captured his third win of the 2014 AMA Supercross season and 48th 450 class victory of his career, tying him with Ricky Carmichael for second on the all-time win list behind Jeremy McGrath‘s 72. Racing before a crowd of 50,856 fans at Ford Field in Detroit, Stewart took the lead from holeshot-taker Cole Seely shortly before the end of the second lap and led the rest of the 20-lap race for the win. Stewart led by as much as 7.1 second but eased off at the end, crossing the finish less than two seconds ahead of Kawasaki‘s Ryan Villopoto.

Honda’s View of the Motorcycle Industry in Canada

Fri, 13 Aug 2010

Recently here on Motorcycle.com, we’ve been bringing you reviews of a handful of Honda scoots that are available to our neighbors (or is that neighbours?) to the North in Canada, yet remain forbidden fruit for American consumers. Reviewer Costa Mouzouris gave us a look at the naked CB1000R that Honda Canada is considering importing, the already-available half-faired CBF1000, and the entry-level CBR125R. Meanwhile, Honda’s competitors have also announced some new products for Canada that have yet to be made available in the U.S.

2012 Honda Gold Wing Tour: Part 4

Fri, 20 May 2011

Yesterday aboard the 2012 Honda Gold Wing was quite an eye opener. I had shared my impressions of some of the upgrades to the new Wing in blog posts earlier in the week (Part 1, Part 2, Part 3), but these focused mostly on some comfort and convenience updates and the bike’s ability to eat up open stretches of pavement. But on this day we put the Wing to a completely different test: the Tail of the Dragon, US 129 in North Carolina.
