That’s because Honda’s CRF250R is all new for 2014, with a major emphasis on doing what a 250 does best: offer precise, nimble, tack-sharp handling. So what did we do? First, we gave it our new, low-CG aluminum frame. Next, there's an updated fork, a new swingarm, a new shock and new linkage ratio. Finally, we added our patented dual-muffler exhaust – all of these come together to make the new CRF250R handle better than ever. We didn't stop there. Engine changes include a new, high-compression piston, new cylinder head and porting, a lighter radiator and new dual-stage fuel injection timing that offers crisp low to mid range power. Honda Reveals NSF250R Moto3 Racebike Specs
Thu, 02 Jun 2011Honda has released official specs for its new NSF250R racebike developed for the new Moto3 class which will debut in the 2012 Grand Prix World Championship season. The Honda NSF250R’s four-stroke single-cylinder engine was developed specifically for Moto3 competition, promising power delivery in the high rpm range. The engine is equipped with titanium valves and uses an offset cylinder with a nickel silicon carbide surface treatment to reduce friction and improve durability.

Mon, 12 Aug 2013Since wild camping in the UK is generally regarded as trespassing, I opted for a crowded campsite in the heart of Sussex, open fires allowed, to see if the MOTOTENT is worth the £399 price tag. On the face of it the MOTOTENT is essentially a two man dome tent with a porch, Well I can pick up one of those up from Argos for £100 or less. Also I was struggling to understand why you would buy a tent that you can sleep in and store your bike in overnight, certainly in the UK most places you are likely to stay are fairly secure campsites.

Tue, 06 Oct 2009As Honda prepares its new VFR1200 for its official unveiling, the red-wing company has set up a website detailing its long involvement in V-4 engines. It began back in 1979 with the introduction of the NR500 grand prix racebike. Rather than fielding a 500cc two-stroke engine, Honda used a four-stroke oval-piston V-4 motor – essentially a V-8 with four cylinders that could be revved to 19,500 rpm!
